Welcome to Positively Powerful: Connected learning for senior students in the digital age.

The aim of this wiki is to support senior students and teachers to develop the digital citizenship skills needed for online learning and employment in the 21st century.

Designed into a series of modules, it focuses on development of the 4Cs:
  • Communication
  • Creativity
  • Critical thinking
  • Collaboration

The 4Cs are essential in digital learning environments for you to take control of your learning confidently, and be a considerate and informed digital citizen.

Each page has an International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) standard. These standards emphasise the skills and qualities needed to thrive in digital environments.

What are Digital Learning Environments (DLEs)?

A Digital Learning Environment (DLE) is a place where technology is used to support learning and provide anytime access. These are often online spaces so that users, like you, can connect with people anywhere in the world.

When working within DLEs users need to behave in an appropriate manner to be productive.
